Jenkins County EMS provides non-emergency and emergency services to Jenkins County. The ambulance service is licensed through the department of human resources as an advanced life support system and is capable of performing all advanced life saving skills including: Advanced Airway Skills, O.B., Trauma, and Pediatric Life Support.

Jenkins County EMS is also certified in vehicle extrication, though we allow the city / county fire department to assist our service in this area under our direct supervision to insure patient safety.

Jenkins County EMS is directly involved in community education in Jenkins County. We teach First Aid, CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Child Safety Programs on a continuing basis.

Jenkins County EMS also provides mutual aid to surrounding counties including: Screven, Emanuel, Bullock, and Burke County in time of need or disaster.
